If you are coming to the blockade please register so that we have an idea of how many to cater for.

The weekend will include:

Saturday 22nd:

  • 2pm-5pm leafleting Derby city centre. Stall at the clock tower on St Peter’s St.

  • 7pm - public meeting on health and safety and diversification - English Martyr's Parish Hall, London Road, Alvaston
Sunday 23rd at Queens Hall Methodist Mission:
  • 10am - 12 noon - media workshop

  • 1pm - 3pm - Nonviolence Direct Action Training and Planning. If you are coming to the Monday blockade please arrive by 12:30 Sunday at the latest.

Monday 24th:
  • Early morning blockade of Rolls Royce, Raynesway site participants need to take part in Sundays trainings

  • 9am demonstration outside Rolls Royce Nuclear Factory Raynesway

Indoor floor-space accommodation will be available from Saturday night.

We will be following the Trident Ploughshares non-violence guidelines:
• Our attitude will be one of sincerity and respect towards the people we encounter
• We will not engage in physical violence or verbal abuse toward any individual
• We will carry no weapons
• We will not bring or use alcohol or drugs other than for medical purposes (this applies to the whole weekend as well as the Monday)
• We will clear the blockade to allow emergency vehicles in or out of the Rolls Royce Raynesway complex and then resume the blockade afterwards.
